Born in 1972 in Hokkaido, Japan, 42-year-old Noriaki Kasai last year became the oldest winner on the men’s Ski Jump World Cup circuit.

He will be 45 at the time of the next Olympics, and 49 for the one after that. Noriaki has confessed wishing to continue competing until he’s 50 if his body permits. 

He holds many Ski Jump World Cup records and received three Guinness World Records; The oldest Ski Jump World Cup Champion, the most consecutive participation in the Winter Olympic, having previously competed 7 times, and the oldest Ski Jump Olympic medalist.
